One octopus, every file.

The avatar, the lockup, the wordmark and the favicon set. Every file is live at the path printed under it — open it in a tab, or use the download button.

Left to right: shown at true size, then enlarged 4× with hard pixels so the grid is visible. The 180 px file is shown at half size beside the plate colour #231a42 it sits on. Download the 180 px icon 2,501 B

The favicon set is a crop, not the whole mark. It is the head — rows 0–6 of the 7 × 11 grid — on an opaque #231a42 plate, sized to the square, so the eyes still read at 16 px in a tab.
In-page marks use the grid render, not these exports. The masthead and footer load /assets/octoface.png and its sizes, which draw the pixel-grid art at 83.9 px per cell; the root page's hero shows this avatar instead of the render.
The 180 px icon is derived here. iOS asks for 180 px and the supplied set stops at 48, so that one file is rendered from the source grid in the favicon's own design — same crop, same plate.
The avatar is the full-color octopus. The masthead, hero and footer keep the pixel-grid render; octoface-icon.png is the painted illustration, swapped in on 15 October 2026 for the flat icon export.
/favicon.ico by name. The web root carries the three favicon frames as PNG entries, for anything that asks for /favicon.ico directly.
Dimensions, byte counts and hashes above are measured from the files at build time.
